A Visit from Fire Station #2!!!

What a great end to our week!  This week in kindergarten the children have been learning all about how to stay safe in a fire.  They have learned what to do when there is a fire and how to prevent a fire from happening!!  The kids were super excited to see the fire engine and firefighters.  Firefighter TJ talked to us about what firefighters do when they go to a fire.  Firefighter Eddie showed us what he would look like if he had to come to our home for a fire.  We got to hear him breathe and talk with his air tank.  We learned that he's still the same person even when he has on all his fire gear.  We should never hide from them; instead we need to yell and shout! The best part was when Sparky showed up for a visit!!
